The B-Man finally got his digital recording gear out to a gig.experience the flood of music that came
out that night. Greg's powerful drum solo segues from the end of a Cream Classic, then evolves
into a full band free-for-all tribute to the genius of Jimmy Page and The Greatest Band of All
Time, Led Zeppelin. A nice snapshot of what can be witnessed live at a Nine Mile Creek Show.
Check it out on the Audio/Video page!
More to come in the future...

more. Check out the
new audio MP3s here!
Friday, Feb 29, 2008: JACK's REEF Port of Call:
perfect night a Jack's! As the sledders filed in for a break from the cold, the music and
beer flowed freely. The vocal harmonizer added 2-5 more voices to the mix, while
Bman's new amp howled, and Weej's "refrigerator" Ampeg moved the entire building!

Lots of ROCK, lots of volume, lots of
people! Can't wait to come back to this club
in Auburn again soon! This is the first time
the house music was louder than the band
itself! Rock is alive and well in Auburn!

TAVERN Friday, May 16, 2008: BRIDGE ST
TAVERN:(INSIDE, it rained!) Despite the rain, the sound, setup,
and crowd at this exciting new venue have been just fantastic! The Balloon
Guy even made us a banner. Pics coming in a couple more days. Look for a
new booking soon, and we WILL be at the benefit on August 9th! The violin
bow was out again, after a long absence, and it was great to have dozens of
our good friends and family there to cheer us on! Pete, get well soon!
Saturday, May 17th: EXPECTATIONS Bar&Grill Another fun evening at
our favorite Riverside Venue, where the "Guiness Goddesses" always treat us like
rock stars! It was a fun evening of ROCK, and as usual, more new and interesting
people. The boating season is going to be NUTS at this place! The food was killer, as
always. Finally learned what talapia is, and our lives will never be the same. But
seriously, once we got rid of the hum, the new system worked well, and Weej rose to
the occasion of playing in the 3piece format by kicking some butt on his bass. If you
haven't been to Expectations, you HAVE to get there- it RULES!

God bless you, and

Saturday, June 7th: FreedomCreek at Expectations, Seneca Falls:
Freedom and Weej acoustic duo in the pocket and in the oven! It was a HOT
night in Seneca Falls at our favorite little pub and grub. The chicken was
fantastic, and the music was inspired. Several renditions of "happy birthday"
for patrons, including a CSN version, courtesy of the harmonizer. Still working
the kinks out of the new PA, but no more hum! Closer to Home, Thick As a
Brick, and Sweet Home Alabama were highlights!
Friday, June 13th at LAKE EFFECT:
Sunday, June 15th at Bridge St Tavern:
Due to the weather man having no clue, Freedom and the Weej got rained on
twice, but the equipment and the show both survived this Father's Day beerfest.
Weej even learned what causes feedback in a PA system! Both of Freedom's
guitars got a free nature wash, and the burgers and fries were delicious. Made a
few new friends, and we expect the Sunday Jams to be quite packed this
summer at the Bridge St Tavern! See you next time...
Thursday, June 19th 8-12pm: Sammy Malone's, Baldwinsville, NY: Sammy's is
about to double it's size this coming week when it opens the fully and newly-renovated bar
room which sits on the Seneca River above the old blue water grill, across the river from it's
sister bar, Lake Effect. We will be here EVERY Thursday this Summer, and it will just keep
getting better! THIS BAR HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!! THIS BAR HAS GREAT MICRO-BREW
SELECTIONS and the usual beers and liquors. It's also a great sounding room- not too loud
with a nice slight echo, and very clean and new-looking. The acoustic set was very eclectic
this night, with several dozen patrons singing along the entire night, filling the soon-to-be
much larger bar room with cheer. See you here next and EVERY Thursday!

due to the threat of t-storms, and as usual, the weatherman was WRONG! But
the crowd, and the music sure were RIGHT this night. Freedom played a solo
acoustic evening, taking full advantage of the capabilities of his
sampling/looping equipment to create multiple sonic layers of music and
rhythm for 4 hours of enhanced Classic Rock excitement. Fantastic drinks, and
a friendly staff at Lake Effect, as usual!

CANCELLED! (thanks, ascrap!)
We would like to extend a heartfelt "go fuck yerself" to ascap for
causing another venue to delete live music from their calendar, due to
exhorbitant fees the mafia-like "association" extorts/demands. Thanks
for sticking it to local musicians who barely get enough to cover the gas
it takes to get to the gig, as we promote and sustain the old turds of
your classic rock catalogue that would be long-forgotten, were it not for
people like us and bar owners who dare to let us play the music you've
already been paid 100times for each copy. Thanks. Our one consolation
will be watching the continued long slow death of the recording
industry as it is replaced by upstarts and indies on the internet and new
media. As in the 70s, the Artists creativity will prevail!

***PICTURES!!!***
A hot beautiful day turned into a ROCKIN' night at the Tiki Bar outside. Early
on, a marauding bachelorette party stormed the stage, demanding Lynard
Skynard, Led Zeppelin, and Greg's underwear, among other things... When
last into the night. The lovely Scewczyk Sisters and their entourage made the
scene, along with a certain local drumming celebrity with a booming voice and
several other notable socialites and personalities of interest. A very rippin'
version of Walk Away was captured on video and may appear here soon.
